The founding partner of the firm is Nathalie Meyer Fabre. She has practised for more than twenty years in two major business law firms, Jeantet & Associés and then Salans. Whilst practicing in these firms, Nathalie Meyer Fabre has developed extensive expertise in the arbitration and litigation of international disputes. The law firm comprises four lawyers. Each of the lawyers is used to working in a multi-cultural environment. They can all work equally in French and English. The law firm is organized in a versatile and efficient way. As such it has the experience and resources to advise on and manage matters of an international dimension and of considerable technical complexity. Meyer Fabre Avocats has a privileged relationship with the academic community and several of its lawyers combine their legal practice with University teaching and research activities.

Our advice and assistance is sought in a wide variety of matters including: disputes arising out of joint ventures or cooperation agreements, product liability and industrial risk claims, breaches of commercial relations and pre-contractual negotiations, post-acquisition disputes, distribution disputes, unfair competition claims, insurance law disputes, disputes relating to financial difficulties and insolvency.

Among the matters in which we have considerable specific knowledge and experience are: the definition of global strategies for international disputes, questions relating to international jurisdiction and conflict of laws, the recognition and enforcement in France of foreign judgments or arbitral awards, the resolution of procedural issues specific to international litigation (service abroad, obtaining of evidence) and issues specific to the involvement of foreign public entities (sovereign immunity from jurisdiction and enforcement).
